NRMN-based mentoring facilitation, imposter phenomenon workshops, and MBTI for lab and research teams — built by a CIMER-trained facilitator with two decades inside graduate biomedical education. These aren't borrowed frameworks: each one has been delivered directly, in guest lectures and professional development programming, to real trainee cohorts at a research university's school of medicine.
For institutions building or running formal mentoring infrastructure tied to training grant mechanisms (T32, R25, IMSD, and similar). An ongoing partnership for program design, facilitator training, and ongoing session delivery — scoped and quoted per program.
Handbooks, onboarding automation, hiring workflows, performance systems, and MBTI team workshops — HR expertise sized for businesses that need it but can't yet justify a full-time hire.
A dedicated HR hire is a five- or six-figure commitment most businesses under 50 people can't justify. Fractional HR gives you the same expertise — handbooks, onboarding, hiring systems, performance structure — scaled to actual need, with the option to grow the relationship as the team does.
GHL setup, booking automation, client pipelines, website design, and SEO — built from systems tested on a working photography business, plus one-on-one photography training.
Two decades of applied experience inside research and graduate education, now built into three practice areas.
Brandy Wood spent more than eighteen years inside graduate and research education, leading recruitment, retention, mentoring, and professional development for hundreds of trainees at Indiana University School of Medicine — most recently in graduate program leadership, overseeing student success initiatives, faculty partnerships, and training-grant programming for biomedical graduate education. In January 2026, she left that role to build BSW Ventures full time.
She holds an MBTI certification from CPP, Inc. (2016) and completed NRMN facilitator training through CIMER (2018) — the methodology behind the workshops and mentoring programs offered through BSW Ventures. That combination of formal credential and two decades of applied, in-the-room facilitation is what separates this work from a generalist consultant's borrowed framework. It's also what makes the transition possible: this isn't a new interest, it's a two-decade practice now built as its own business.
